Last night I was hunting a merchant, laid in wait and I was ready to fire an eel. Then I noticed the merchant was unarmed so I blew ballast and submerged, and started firing my deck gun. Just as the first round started to hit, the wheather changed. First it started raining, then the waves started to get bigger and bigger. In no time I was in the middle of a storm, and I was still on the Gun deck. Then the gun started to move to the center and I was thrown to the command center. "Can not operate the gun in bad wheather".

there is a mod called all weather guns but has the side affect of your crew not getting put into wet weather gear. link below

I think it's pretty cool that moving the gun and reloading it will stop if the deck goes under water if the waves are too big. Once the deck clears moving/reloading continues.
