Big mistake__will this fix work?

I was adding some traffic via the ME to RSRD(well traveller mod which uses RSRD traffic)...I was building via the empty layer "44AJapConvoy" and accidentially saved it under 44A Jap CONVOY layer, which replaced that all important convoy layer.

Would it work to simply copy and paste a fresh 44AJapConvoy layer into the mod? I really dont want to reinstall as I did a lot of work and apparently saved over this layer without realizing it.I knew something was up when a convoy did not show up after an Ultra and it was in a spot you just cant miss it, so did some investigating.
