In the Goblin Editor application, I found a setting called Hydrogen Peroxide power, and I know that some experimental U-boats used this, like V-80, the Walter boat, but what does this do in SH5?
I know for a fact, none of the playable submarines have this feature, so is this just a leftover from what Ubisoft did not finish? |

Sure sounds like an unfinished leftover. I can't begin to imagine what else is in SH5 that's unfinished. What a shame.

It's not unfinished, the code for it is in SH5. I decoded the engines a couple of days ago and the game supports it and will use it if asked. Now the question is how do you enable it? Someone should poke their head back into SH3/4 and see if anything stands out in any of the files.

If you want to learn about it, first see this video about and the next for how it can be used in rockets...

I already know how it works, I was just asking on if it worked in game.

Don't you wish the Ubi devs had been allowed to finish the game before release? I think they had best intentions but marketing and the mighty dollar squashed their timeline.
Gee, it's not like they had another sub sim competitor out there. UBI became an assembly line factory instead of a house of art.

It is indeed a shame that so much more wasn't included - obviously many of us were hoping that SH5 would be more like SH3 in terms of choice and the range of boats available.

Indeed, the choice of Boats in this game is very scant, you only get a very slight change, nothing much in terms of variety.
