Survey "SH3 - MOD & TOOL" April 2011

Dear Silent Hunter III Community,

during April we want to call on you for a survey of your favourite MODS and TOOLS.
The background for this poll is to get an overview of the recently used MODS and TOOLS to give the modders some hints of what is mostly wanted.

The poll is made of 23 questions dealing with "SH3 MOD & TOOL", takes you approximately 5 minutes and can be done completely anonymously.

Dear friends,

within the last 3 days the participation in the survey is different!

Whereas in the English poll less than 10 users took part, in the German survey more than 130 users answered the questions and gave vitally information’s about MODS they would like to play or new ones they would like to have.

Unfortunately most of the users reply without their username so that we are not able to get in contact with them to discuss their valuable wishes.

The whole purpose of this survey is to make profit for all SHIII players:
- SHIII Players should get to know what they may further expect from SHIII
- The modders get useful information what the players want to have

We will publish the results in May 2011 here, of course without personal informations.

Err.. well, it doesn't help the English speaking users that most of the mods are in German, and we have no clue what they are. And even if they were in English, I may still not know what they are. Possibly a short description or a link to one on each?

@blueduck, this survey appears to be aimed at LSH users, is that correct? Because I don't really recognize any of the first mods listed, and everything I see on that first page seems to refer to LSH.

Otherwise I would take the survey, but if it's for LSH users my answers wouldn't be very helpful.

The survey is adressed to everey SH3-Player, because we want to find the most wanted ones.
It also is adressed to the SH3-Modders who will be able to see which mods are mostly wanted by the players.
Maybe the answers will give new ideas for new MODS the SH3-Players would like to have.

@Gargamel:
Err... well, seems you do not know LSH3V5.1.

@both:
Maybe you ask all the LSH-adressed questions with "Seldom or Never" and give us the hints about the actual MODS you prefer at the end.

Unfortunately the download is so slow, I gave up and Closed the page after 5 minutes.
I don't use LSH anyway.

I speak German I can translate whatever.

I'm from dusseldorf, germany.

I've lived in USA since 6 years old though :d

EDIT:

I'm also making a new mod myself based heavily on current mods english and german but with a focus on realism. I'm also rewriting a ton of stuff, expecially the hardcoded stuff. Check the mod forum for more info.

Sorry I am unable to comply, I do not understand what the mods are, and only one tool I use is in the list and I do not use it except for promoting crew members and that is SH3 commander...

I use GWX 3.0

Silent 3ditor v0.9.9

And these are not in the list....
