4gb patch

Hey guys ... I've tried doing a search for some answers but just can't nail it...I haven't had sh3 installed for a couple of years but i decided to boot it up again today....problem is though i can't get the 4gb patch to work.

I've upgraded to V1.4 and applied the no cd and fixed exe patch but when i try to run the starforce free 4gb patch i get a message telling me it doesn't recognise my version of sh3.exe.

I'm assuming it's because i've applied the no cd patch but the funny thing is i didn't have this problem when i last used it. I had thought of reinstalling and applying the patch before i apply the no cd patch but before i done that i thought i'd check here. My only concerns are that if i do that then the no cd patch will overwrite the 4gb patch.

Does anyone know how i can get this working.....I'm running win 7 ultimate and i've already tried running the patch as administrator...The game works fine but it's a bit laggy so thats why i want to try the 4gb patch, to see if it will run better...I of course have 4 gb ram.
