A friendly hi.

Hello everyone, just stopping by to say hi.

I doubt anyone cares for my lifestory but in short my life is playing drums, the band, beer, the gf and so on, just like any other person I guess.

The only sims I ever played is Combat Flight Simulator (waaaay back) and just recently I found out about the Silent Hunter-series through Steam. I got both SH3 & 5 but after some consideration i decided that SH3 was the way to go. So therefore I am a superübermega-beginner. I joined here to find out more about the game(s) and to learn some tips & tricks aswell as finding mods and such once i have mastered the game. Currently stuck at the academy, but im a resolute and resilient sonofagun and I am determined to climb this steep ladder of learning.

Thanks for the intro, it is nice to have a little background on the people you spend so much time on here with (you will, believe me!). I know we've a few guitarists, but not too sure about drummers - so you can fill that gap. And obviously, if you've any drummer jokes that we've not heard before we'd like to know them.

I'd recommend using mods, particularly one of the supermods for SH3 - have a read through their respective fora and pick the one you like the sound of best - they're all different, they all add (or take) something different.

Im all into metal, been playing since i was 8 and now im 26 so it's a considerable amount of time. I thik ive heard all the jokes there is but what about this one:

Hey buddy, how late does the band play?
- Oh, about half a beat behind the drummer.

And I'm not supersure ill spend all of my time playing SH either btw, I was just curious about the games since i love all them u-boat movies, and I've got a great fear of the deep blue ocean. xD

Mostly, I play Company of Heroes or CS:GO, so if anyone here plays that feel free to join if youre interested in that kind of games aswell.
