It means that he's been around for a long time and has been an active, positive contributer during that time. FYI, clicking on an award gives you the description of said badge.

You can delete any regular post by using the Edit button. Only the forum moderator can delete the first post of a thread.

it means that you are all wise and knowing
showing the way for many that would other wise
be lost and dash themselves against the shoals
if not for your wisdom and courage to post kind
remarks to all comers new and old.

Also notice that it is worth zero points on purchasing
anything in the ships store
