Default Torpedoes go way off.

Tried Trevallys RAOBF tutorial and couldn't get torpedoes to hit tutorial target. Then i tried to use manual targeting and torpedoes don't go where I aim, they go about 20° off.

Did you make sure to change your heading as instructed in the tutorial? Also when you input AOB manually and enter it in by clicking the button, have the scope at 0. Then you can hit lock and move the scope left or right to get a 0 gyroangle setting.

try the fast 90 tutorial first as it will show how to use the tdc
A common error is to leave the tdc in input mode

Nope cant get it to work what ever I try. Trevally what do you mean TDC input mode? I do things exactly as they are shown in tutorial and still they dont go where supposed to go. Im so confused It seems that gyro angle doesn't work what could have caused this? I use Sobers mega mod list.

My monitor resolution is 1680x1050 so its 16:10 and I use 8:5 scopes...

When I shoot torpedo left ex. bearing 350 torpedo actually goes to bering 340 and when I shoot ex. bearing 30 it goes to 40. but when i shoot bearing 221 torpedo goes to 240 or something there is no logic at all in this :P

This is due to the gyro angle.

Try the fast 90 tut first and see how that goes

Glad you got it sorted

Just remember that the TDC is there to offset you aim to allow for the time it take a torp to get to its target.

When you press the red TDC button to enter your data - do not move the scope. Enter all data first or put the TDC back to red before moving it.
Then ensure that the tdc is set at red before you fire.
The gyro will show how much offset it will send the torp.

Sink em all

In tutorial im am able to hit all other targets now but the one in 221 is too far away back so torp cannot turn so much and doesn't hit because of that (In tutorial you are not told to turn your sub)
