Instructions for forfeiting your usual after-work Silent Hunter time on 14 Feb:
  1. Pretend to forget about Valentines Day for weeks
  2. Secretly order romantic bunch of flowers to be delivered to girlfriend at work
  3. INCOMPETENT INTERFLORA DELIVERY DRIVER FAILS TO FIND OBVIOUS ADDRESS AND SENDS ME A 'Pick up from sorting office slip' INSTEAD
  4. Recieve abusive text message at work threatening retribution for forgetting
  5. Report home, switch off Silent Hunter and report to girlfriend for nagging

Was the original picture doctored? Do they come out that way normally?

That could really break my heart.

I wonder if my wife would appreciate a Valentine's day card with a picture of that hedgehog heart... Maybe I should try Gustav Schiebert's flower approach too, just in case. Women are like 1943 destroyers, one never knows when they suddenly get mad at you for no reason at all and then you're
