Umm wonder if one could find menus and coking instructions for U-Boats, I mean come on sardines and crackers seems a little stale. I could whip a feast and start my patrol in good stead as the WO can take her out while one finishes dinner.

As it said a good cook was worth his weight in gold. I would never want to be the cook, feeding 40+ guys with that tiny kitchen. Also add in the fact that everything began to taste like fuel and lub oil and general funk.
I wonder if anyone ever got the Knights Cross for cooking. ![]()
