Major crash problem

My old PC blew up (almost literrally wtih smoke pouring out of the box). I finally got a different PC using XP and with a GForce 6200 videocard.

I reinstalled SHIII from Gamersgate. When I tried to launch it, I got a major crash that even displayed a Blue Screen of Death. I have reinstalled a couple of other games, Hearts of Iron III and World in Conflict, and have not had any problems.

Any suggestions as to what I should do?
