never heard of any problems. do the same thing as Win7 and you will be fine.

SH3 isn't supposed to work on windows 7 (or vista) according to Microsoft but it does.

I'm playing SH3 on a Windows 8 laptop and it works. GWX3 works, SH3 Commander too and so do work SH3Gen and JSGME.

If you use it just for gaming I think it's even better than Windows 7 as I think it's faster, if you use it for work maybe you want to install the start menu tweak. It's like a mod for Windows 8.
