Default [TMO] Help with torpedos

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, sorry if it is'nt.

But I am having issues with torpedo hits on warships. Merchants ships I can sink fine, no issue there. But when I try to sink a warship my torpedos go right through the ship.

ATM I am in calm water tring to down some heavy cruisers with a draft of 17ft. My fish are set at 5. I shot them off and watch with the extrernal camera and they just go righ thought it. I had trouble with a minelayer earlier but didnt think anything of it at the time, being in ruff water and all. But now I am certain that something is amiss.

If anyone could help I would greatly aprreciate it cause Im at a loss.

Going under or through the ship?

Sounds a lil strange at that depth, haven't heard of that issue. If they're still running under, set as shallow as possible and set to influence.

What version of the game and TMO are you using, plus any other mods?

Thanks for the reply

Im using SH4 1.5 , TMO 2.5 with RSRDC 502.7.

And I know its seems crazy but yea, the torps are going right through tthe ships. But I was poking around on the googles and found one post on ubi's forums. It was talking about if you save the game to many time on a mission that this is what could happen.

So I went ahead to port to start another mission. This time I hit a warship. So back to Truk I go !!

Too many overwrite saves will cause the file to get corrupted. Most of us save to a new file each time.
With TMO, you get almost realistic dud Mk14s. That is probably what happened. The visual representation was probably just off.
