Which game released in 2012 do you rate as your most favourite one, cause you liked it that much and consider it to be that good and looking so stunning, or whatever your reasons are?
My choice is easy, since Skyrim is invalid (November 2011). And so I am left with the magnificent VIRTUAL POOL 4. Superb realism. Superb physics. Superb handling and playability. Two dozens versions of pool, billiard, and snooker. Superb graphics. 8 locations, 6 different sized pool tables (tables can be tailored in even more detail in the options), billiard table (4 versions of carom), snooker table, British pub table (and yellow-red balls), video lessons, 3 play modes, internet tournaments coming up, plus the unique power control via mouse movement (no buttons, sliders on scales or such) - you cannot simulate an object of a sim any better than it is done here. It behaves, does and looks like the real thing. Even a formula got published that allows you to calculate the correct angle of FOV (to be set in the options), depending on your monitor'S width and your average distance between eye and monitor surface. Your FOV should match your FOV when you lean over the real table and have your chin on the real queu. And you know what? It does! I train with it every day. Served my positional play well. This sim can really train you to take care of not just potting object balls, but trying to get your play ball in good positions to continue play with the next shot. ![]()
