Warship question

On the second mission now where you patrol the east coast of England.

There is one destroyer on patrol near to me but trying to plot an intercept is near impossible. I like the fact that the ship changes course a lot but trying to line up a shot is quite hard.

Any tips?

you sure the destroyer hasn't been stuck to you? there is a stock game bug where sometimes one destroyer will be stuck within exactly 10km (I think) around you... can't really catch him, can't really run away...

Save/reload fixes it.
