Personally I swear by noscript, up until using noscript I'd get a virus nearly every other month and it was nearly always from a malicious script that was hidden in an advert. It would install itself as a 'virus checker' and generally break things, heck I even had a rootkit pop up at one point.

So I use noscript with a triumvirate of Malwarebytes and Avast, and it's worked so far. Of course, now I've said that I'm doomed to be hacked to oblivion...

I did have my twitter account hacked the other day, but I just had one message which was about upgrading my portfolio or some such rubbish, my other half notified me quite quickly about it and I was able to take action to put a stop to it.

I have no idea why anyone would voluntarily use cloud computing? Why give away all your data to a third party who you can't check on what they are doing with it?

Anyone who knows anything about the subject of computer security knows you should avoid apple. Their products have security holes you can drive an aircraft carrier through, particularly macs.

Mac is also gaining market share among younger users, which will make hackers take a sudden interest in Mac and its legion of security holes. The only reason why hackers haven't generally bothered exploiting macs in the past is because there were very few of them, making it not worth while.
