Default Cheers

Hello everyone. Long time lurker and old school sub game fan. I started out with Wolfpack for DOS, (Now I think of it, I loved the fact that you could play as a destroyer in that game. Anyone knows of a modern game having something like that?) and got into Silent Hunter III a couple of years ago.

Anyway, I stopped playing SH3 when GWX Gold finally pushed it past my old student laptop's specs. Now years later I got some time on my hands and a sudden urge to spend it virtually torpedoing stuff (strange when that happens, no? )

I'm no sub expert and not particular good at computer games, so I'm not sure if I can contribute anything extra to the forums. In fact, the reason I post this now is because it's required to get access to some of the great mods people have been making. However, I do have some nice picks from my visit to Vesikko at Sveaborg, if anyone is interested.
