Default GR2 Importer/Exporter for 3ds Max 2013?

Hello. I'm new here. I'm known on the Quality Simulations forum as "saken". Quality Simulations have produced simulators like Virtual Sailor, Micro Flight and now Vehicle Simulator.

For my very own use, am I allowed to import and export the Silent Hunter 5 models into Vehicle Simulator, for my own use, that is?

Kind Regards

Hello TheDarkWraith!

I've read your and Privateer's posts at this forum before I became a member here, and I also have followed the Silent Hunter series since Silent Hunter III, and I must say, the series is truly a work of art! But so is your and Privateer's programming/coding work!

I wish I could become a prorgammer myself, but I just don't got the patience with code. It's just confusing with all those commands and all this stuff called Programming, so I'm sticking with 3D Modeling, where you can, after all, model anything you like.

I have one question for you, TheDarkWraith. Can I use your tool to extract .gr2 files to .obj files to import into 3ds Max 2013? As that is the version I'm currently using

Kind Regards

Sure can. You'll want the test version that testers are using though
