Default Russian Rebellion Campaign.

I completed the campaign, and I noticed that unlike the campaign in Sub Command, how you accomplish the missions has no effect on the campaign even though the first missions imply what side you choose and what you do will have an effect on what happens in future missions.
For example, the Sovestkaya mission, you can either help the rebels or the loyalists as a US sub, or play as a Loyalist Akula and sink the American submarines. I tried it in all 3 different ways, but that changes nothing in the course of the campaign.
Then there is a mission where you either have to escort the Indian air craft carrier as the US side, or you can sink or damage it as a Chinese Kilo sub. When I sunk it playing as the Chinese sub, that very same Indian air craft carrier still appeared in the following up missions.
The Russian rebellion campaign therefore seems to be just a series of single missions that just follow the same story line than a campaign.
I hope it's just me doing something wrong, in that case please let me know.

i'm just getting back into hard core naval sims, but it sounds to me like the campaigns are just one mission after another in same setting. i'm still working on quick missions to get good at classifying contacts in FFG ~ i'll have to try the campaigns at some point...will post any feed back

the campaign is semi-dynamic in that sense that it is randomized to some degree...also to my knowledge subsequent missions take actions from previous missions into account...just have a look at the missions in the editor.
