Looking for music for the gramophone in SH 4.Mainly US music. There were some great gramophone mods called "gramophone One" Gramophone Two" and Gramophone Three I used to have but forget who created them and my search on her seemed to bring up everything but that.Anyone have them laying around? Also, will a regular MP 3 file work if just insert it into gramophone folder? I ama bit ost on this stuff sorry. Thanks in advance.

I think mp3 will be fine but if not then you'll soon know when you try. As for the music do intend on doing music from that period or just any modern music you have?? I would make a mix of sorts, like old vs new so that it's not just one day and age of music. I think this would be a great addition

The game will play .ogg, .wav, and .mp3 files, though it sometimes has problems with certain types of mp3s.

Check jimbuna for gramophone files.
Mp3files sometime skip or play short, ogg files don't. Wave files are vary large so if your setup has unlimited gigabytes they are OK.
I use format factory and convert them all to ogg files; I also adjust all the files to the same level with mp3gain first.

You want 1940's music Oggs? You got em'

You can find them by artist:

Tokyo Rose

for example, or date:

The best part is they're all free public domain files. No piracy involved.

Here's a great selection of old radio programs as well. They make for great radio station mods. I've been really getting into them on long patrols.

They even have double entendre comedy...
