Default NEW PATTERN

TMO+RSRD

I am on my second campaign and I was wondering if anyone had ever seen this ship?? This is the first I have ever seen with a camouflage pattern.

It is listed as KMSS Hog Island JPN

She didn't last long

I think I've seen it once in Sulu Sea, Northern Borneo coast I can't be that sure because it was during a day storm, but the camo pattern looks the same an so do the crains on deck .

Oh very nice screen shot.

In real life the 'HogIslander' was a specifically American model. Very few were sold to other countries and none to Japan. Why they're in the game I don't know, but they are.

@ Ewall007: You really don't need to quote the entire post, and especially not the pictures. This costs Subsim money. Not much, but when several people do it every week it adds up fast.

Both times I have seen her she sits lower than average in the water. This was 67 miles West SouthWest of Manila

I'm guessing those we see in the game are the Hog Islanders licensed to be built in Japanese shipyards during World War One. Apparently, US shipyards couldn't keep up with demand at the time due to lack of building slips. I imagine they were getting a bit long in the tooth by WW2, but Japan was always short on shipping.

Welcome aborad Rourke777.
For the attack periscope, use the "Page Up/Page Down" keys, for the Observation/Night Scope you use the "Insert/Delete" keys. Or, you can just click on the periscope icon (the buttons on the bottom of the periscope station) at the bottom.

Not a problem. You seem pretty cool.

One picture doesn't really make that much difference, but sometimes someone will post eight or ten pictures, and then the very next post will quote the whole mess just so he can say something like "Neat! "

I've seen this pattern plenty of times, on Momoyama and Ryuun Marus.
