Silent Hunter 3 Will it run on Windows7?

I can't even get it to load..my system

AMD Athlon 2.80

64bit

Windows 7

I have tried the xp compat mode

Can someone help me?

SH3 has no problem with W7, how did you install the program?

If you have two drives don't put it in C but if you only have a C drive ensure it is installed in the x86 section.

I still get that screen where you have a choice of 'info' or 'ok' and nowhere to go after that.

If I bought this from them..would it solve my issues with it running on Windows 7 ? what is the difference between the dvd version and it?

Installation should be done in x86, even if you choose the Steam as a supplier.

During installation, select the folder, then x86 and not in C (DO NOT PUT IN C) Program Files (x86) / Ubisoft / Silent Hunter...should be the goal.

no go...did as you said..I am at a loss..I even did the 1.4b upgrade..no go..

One step at a time....

Do you have a D drive?

If yes, create a folder in it and call it Games.

Put your game disc into your optical drive and when prompted direct it at the folder you have created and load it into there.
