New to SH5: help!

Hi. I'm new to the forum and to SH5. I did play SH4 (TMO) extensively but am having a hard time making the shift to a U-Boat.

I've installed a number of mods including ui-boat. Could someone offer a few tips or point me toward a tutorial about how to use the TDC in manual mode with the gauges in the ui-boat mod? I don't speak German and am unclear even what the gauges do.

Even a translation for the following terms would be helpful:
Laufstrecke
Richtungsanderung
Gegnerfahrt
Lagewinkel
Entfernung
Auftreff
Geradlauf
Streuwinkel
Zietrichtung
SucSwinkel
Kurswinkel
