Unable to login

I am having troubles loging into Uplay (even though I really don't want to but have to to run the single player sim I want play)

Even after changing my password I am still unable to log in.

I am in the western united states, anyone else having these issues today?

I just got the game a few hours ago and getting the same problem logging onto ubisoft.

It says you have to log on once before playing offline

This is prooving to be very frustrating

I received this error earlier today and assumed that its servers had gone down again. I went into offline mode and after a while, had no issues logging back in to Uplay. It appears to be another minor server issue. At the time of this post, I am having no problems with Uplay.

Yeah, ok I'll try again. I think my problems may be more user error than server problems.

Ubisoft forums are down, they are doing some updrading.

From Ubisoft.com:

I had to call ubi support to get my game to work . They had to re-ste the password or find the original password so I could log in ..I took a few days via email to reply
