Hi.
I have installed the following mods Code:
Generic Mod Enabler - v2.6.0.157 [C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS] Accurate German Flags NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_ByTheDarkWraith NewUIs_TDC_6_9_0_Real_Navigation Torpedo_Speed_Abilitie_Fix_for_TDC_SH5_v120 TheDarkWraith_DC_Water_Disturbances_v2_0_SH5 IRAI_0_0_30_ByTheDarkWraith IRAI_0_0_30_No_Aircraft_Spotting_At_Depth IRAI_0_0_30_No_hydrophone_on_surface IRAI_0_0_30_No_hydrophone_on_surface_No_Aircraft_spotting IRAI_upgrade_to_v_0_0_31 Trevally Automated Scripts v0.6 I just started my first mission (after upgrading my hydrophones to the ones that require 2000 renown) and i was amazed to find an aircraft carrier on my first patrol. However, the hydrophone man always tells me i have no contacts, even though i can see an aircraft carrier and all the destroyers associated with it just of my starboard bow. I should point out this is when i am submerged as the mod above explicitly disables the hydrophones on the surface. Is there something i should be doing to make him work properly? |

Hi. Yes I have done that. I changed the value from false true but didn't change anything relating to the colours

Hmmm. Did you order the sonar operator to follow nearest warship, or was he doing normal sweeps?

That one I haven't seen before. Sounds like he did have a contact, otherwise the "on heading" part makes no sense.
However, I have on ocasions experienced that my navigator fails to (verbally) report depth under keel (no report added to the log either). And in a few instances I went on the bridge, seing smoke on the horizon, but the watch crew never reported a contact. From what I understand, this is caused by a load error (on game start). I'm thinking maybe this is what you have come across here? As far as I can tell, your MOD setup is fine. I would install the IRAI before the New UI, but I don't think this is related to your issue. It makes the game pretty hard to play if you need to visually see all contacts. |
