Default Gibraltar to easy?

Hey people!

Im rather new here and just love the stuff you guys do! Played silent hunter 5 with mods and stuff a while back but just returned because it's so awesome and trying to get in order with mods again.

The thing Im wondering now is if Gibraltar is to easy? or does it get harder.
I went threw Gibraltar one time and there was no real patrols and stuff. just saw a patrol plane and just as i got out of Gibraltar i stumbled up on a patrol of "warships" didn't really look what kind it was because i was busy diving FAST but that's not important.

What I want to know is does the path threw Gibraltar get harder after 1939? It's not like in Das Boot exactly and that is what I want, it should be hard and scary to go threw Gibraltar.

it's sept 1939 and Im just at the first campaign with my fourth patrol going on.

Thansk for a awesome forum and mods!!

In 1939 you can get into Scapa and out without damage I did it and sunk Rodney and a troop ship.

Gibraltar should be impossible. It was probably the most heavily defended British naval base. Passing through the straights into the Meditteranean was done a few times, but no u-boat ever came back out again.

Also, WELCOME ABOARD!

so there is nothing like a mod to make it harder? If not I guess I will have to wait to they station out some killer destroyers there.

btw what AI or mods around that subject should you have to make it exciting?

thanks for the fast answers!

OHII will make this harder and adds passing the strait a requirment for some objectives.

It also makes scapa harder
