Default Germany wants to 'build bridges' with UK over Europe

What game is afoot now?

Quote:
Germany's foreign minister has suggested it can resolve differences with the UK over the future of Europe.
After holding talks with his British counterpart William Hague, Guido Westerwelle said he wanted to "build bridges over troubled waters".

Bloody long bridge from Hamburg to Folkestone!

I suspect the Jerries want the UK taxpayer to help out if their taxpayers are having to do so. Will it work? Depends on how bad things get IMHO. Everyone will be paying something in this mess. Except the ones with the pursestrings. They'll make sure they are looked after.

It will make the next invasion a little more easier.

Reportedly in the interest of improving relations the Germans donated some shrubs for Buckingham Palace. Pictured below is one of the shrubs in question:

Why would they want to plant shrubs in a future hotel/conference center?

A German "old man" of politics, Heiner Geissler, once said about Westerwelle (at least he gets quoted with that):

"Emperor Caligula once made a donkey a consul, to mock the people. We have a donkey as foreign minister who mocks the people. "
