How to attack in Wolfpack in Black Pit campaign?

There is a mission which asks me to sink 150000 tons using Wolfpack.How to use wolfpack?When I encounter a convoy,I keep sending contact report but no wolf come to help me.Should I follow and track the convoy and wait for my teammate?Or there's another way to start a wolfpack attack?Please help!Thanks!

No - you can do this with stock campaign and IRAI

The OHII changes the paths of the wolfpacks to ensure it will meet a convoy more often

Yes - with stock campaign this can take a few goes - I followed wolfpacks for weeks and they just missed convoys. Follow for long enough and they will meet and attack a convoy.

This is why I changed it in OHII - the wolfpack now run along (where possible) the main shipping lanes used by the convoys, thus reducing the time it takes to find a target.

Now I know this is not how wolfpacks worked in the Atlantic - packs formed with a boat following a convoy and called a wolfpack to form.
This is not possible with SH5 - but stay tunned - the wizard is on the case

That's just what I thought.So when I encountered a convoy I just followed it then kept sending contact report!Of course nobody come to join me
