Problem with sound

I dont know what happened,but when i started to play today the speech sound of chief officer it's not working.Like when i give order to crush dive or to blow balast,or depth under keel or any command ,their is no sound.The command appear in infobox but ,when executed there is no voice of officer.
the music sound is working.
any tips/help/oppinion?

Is it vanilla sh3? Do you have mods attached to the game? A bit more info would help out to diagnose and fix the problem.

i found the problem.was sh3 commander ,if someone have problem with sound you need to reset time compression setting in sh3 commander

I had this problem recently, GWX + SH3 commander. No idea what was causing it but it took 2 re-installs to fix it. I didn't change anything with each install, except the final time (when it did work) I launched a very quick mission in stock SH3 before installing anything else.

God knows if that affected it, it was a bit of a mystery.
