2011 Official Subsim Beer Drinkers Thread

Welcome to the 1st and most likely last Official Subsim Beer Drinkers Thread. A place I believe where world problems can be solved and solutions found.

As every beer drinker knows, invaluable discernment, wisdom and insight always accompany those who consume one or even two or twelve beers. They gain an uncanny ability to reveal the unseen, hidden beauties of ugly women, make the unperceptible perceptible and workout solutions to those problems which plagued mankind since the dawn of time. Some say Einstein, himself a well known beer drinker and late night blogger, had stumbled upon his theory of relativity after shooting a mere seven stout barly sodas. But what really set him apart from all the other bar hopping wise men and sages. He somehow managed to write his findings down using whatever was available, his Ipod, bar towels or the toilet paper stuck to his shoe.

But a price is paid for that brilliant light all beer drinkers share, waking up the morning after suffering severe headaches sometimes next to a really big legged woman who you don't remember ever meeting. That pain suffered is from the brain working beyond the normal parameters of activity and thought. Real proof of the genius beer provides.

So, if after knocking back a couple you find yourself contemplating an idea or theory which will bring world peace, solve global warming, prevent alien abduction or answer any of the age old questions which have plagued mankind since the dawn of time. Like why toilet water swirls only in one direction in the northern hemisphere. Who shot JFK or why as children we were more respectful of authority than these rotten kids today. Be sure to have someone record your findings or write them down yourself.

Just think how the world could have been better off by now. Had there only been a place to share the genius beer provides before passing out on the floor and forgetting it all by late morning.

I expect many solutions and answers to be recorded here by next Sunday afternoon. Good luck gentlemen.

Whats a beer drinkers thread this time of year without mention of the traditional Oktoberfest beer!?

I'm appalled, this forum is Euro heavy too. Shame!

I am guzzling Sam Adams Oktoberfest and will do so until they stop selling it

I dunno how it is elsewheres, but we only get it for a few weeks out of the year here. Is it like that in say "Beer heaven" Germany?

Otherwise the whole week can't pass without having beer
