Default Sound problem; No "man the deck guns"...

I've got this one little glitch that I haven't been able to fix. It's been following my game around through various mod installs and I wonder if anyone else has it.
When I used to man the deck gun or the Flak gun, the WO would say, "Yes Sir, MAN THE DECK GUN". Same with the flak gun.
For a long time now, since my game was back at 1.4, all I get after ordering either the deck or flak gun is; "Yes sir,..Yes sir,.. Yes sir, Yes S..." and it stops when the men appear at the gun. This only happens at the guns. It seems that most of the other speech files play if only once, they still play.
It appears to me that the actual speech files "Man the deck gun" and "...Flak gun" are missing and that's why the "yes sir" repeats, because the second part of the statement doesn't play.
Can anyone give me a couple of fixes to try.
I am playing 1.5 w' Game Fixes Only and Pacific Environments. GFO already fixes many speech errors and other stuff so the rest of my mods are unrelated to speech.
Thanks Skippers.

I'm guessing that you get all those "Yes sirs" because, if you're using RFB or TMO, you now have a greater (realistic) number of men manning those guns. Be happy that you have a courteous crew. My guys will man their guns, but whenever I give the order they just turn, grab their crotches and yell, "Yeah, man this!" Then they all laugh at me.

I was strolling through the speech files and was shocked to find so many that I've never heard before. There is indeed a "Deck gun ready sir" file as well as a "Flak Gun Ready..." so why in "heck" don't these files play?? As well as many really good Crew statments and warnings, some of which just play up on the messages log.
I was reading a thread not long ago of a player who wanted more interaction or dialog from the crew, like SH5 is "supposed" to have.
My point is that there would be a lot more dialog if the speech files that are there simply played. I have tried most all the speech fixes I can find but they never seem to do all that much.
Is there a way to get these files to fire? The game would sound a lot better with a crew barking out orders and action statments.
Thanks again
PS: I also noticed that sometimes computers will change the default media player for sound files. Does SH4 have a preferance for a specific media player for the speech files? Just wondering.
