I got a Glitch need help

Hey guys i upgraded to the ix/2 turm in the game but only the deck gun and light flak option is showing up. Something must be messed up just dont know where to edit the uboat static gun settings in the game file. I looked thru the save folder and i found the file playersettings and it only shows one flak gun. Does anyone know how to manually edit which turm is on your uboat and how to edit the flak guns thru the game folders? Thanks just sucks cause i can use a heavy flak gun for the first time and i cant even equip it.

It's in the SH3\data\Cfg\Basic.cfg file. IIRC you start by scrolling down to the '[CONING_TYPEx]' section near the end of the file. Once there you can edit the availability dates for the various turms.

Next you have to go up (in the same file) to the '[SUBMARINE_AMMOx] entries for your sub type. This is where you specify the weapon loadout (deck, flak and torpedoes) for your boat in any given year.

Again, IIRC the MO1 entry controls deck gun type, while ZO1 sets the turm and the AO1 (and for multiple guns - AO2) configure the flak.

To figure out which is which, you need to Ctrl-F down to '[AMMO_TYPEx]' and read the idx identification number. In other words, if you wanted to configure ammo for an 88mm gun you would enter M0=1. The '1' being the corresponding idx identifier.

The next step is to make sure you're in the right year as the game assigns an id to each year starting with 1939 as 00, 1940 as 10, '41 as 20 and so on through to 1945.

So the actual entry (in the submarine ammo section) would read 'M01_00=1' for 1939.

Last but not least, to select flak, Ctrl-F down to '[A01]' and grab the idx number that corresponds to the type you're looking for. Just make sure you've also changed the availability date so you can get the desired type in the right year.

Hopefully I haven't left out any steps, but if so kindly pardon me in advance as it has been a while. Good luck and happy modding!

this is weird a freshly "purchased" IXB has 1 light flak on it and 1 heavy flak on it. But a IXC which i got at the end of 1941 has only a light flak slot? Then in january of 42 you get turm 2 for the type ix's and it only has 2 light flaks no heavy flak at all? This has to be some kind of glitch. Then you dont get the final turm 3 until late 43. So the type ixc doesnt get a heavy flak until 43 this cant be right.

I only work with the sevens so I'm not really sure what's going on there... Doesn't sound right though. Funny it hasn't been sorted to a more realistic/historical standard by now.

Someone else has to have a type 9 in late 41 early 42 with the ix turm 2 or 3 how do you guys get aces super duppa turms to work with the turm upgrades?
