Default Sponge Bob leads to deficits in children's brain

The Journal of the Ameircan Academy of Pediatrics published a study showing that young children watching a hectic TV program for kids (Sponge Bob) in the time after show massive drops in memory and excecutive tasks performance. They scored much worse than kids in a comparing group watching a calmer program.

Not really surprisaing, but a clear indication how irresponisble it is when such programs get agressively advertised by TV makers or DVD publishers who claim to help brain's developement by stimulation when trying to sell such stuff. There is no scieitific evidence whatever that TV consummation helps or speeds up the developement of the brian in young children.

Recommended it is that young children shall not watch any TV at all.

When I check the TV program I wonder whether that maybe wouldn't be good advise for adults, too.
