Airline Passenger Dress Codes?

American's policy states that it can refuse to transport you, or may remove you from your flight for reasons including "being clothed in a manner that would cause discomfort or offense to other passengers."

Hmm... I fnd religiously restrictive headwear offensive, so that woman in the burqa and that gentlemen with the yarmulke must leave this flight.

OK, obviously that's an extreme - but given the overly litigious nature of people looking to score a quick profit from a lawsuit... [/shrug]

I dunno... haven't decided which side of this one I'm coming down on yet.
