Default Gamestop pulled a dick move.

Well, that was a pretty stupid thing to do by opening the brand new, sealed game and take things out.

Yes, a dumb action. If the coupon is advertised on the case they could also get into legal trouble.

But who the hell prints out emails, takes a picture of it and puts it back online?

And I'm pretty sure that you're casually ignoring the forum rules. This seems to be happening every day now, and it's going to stop. The forum moderator has indicated that he's going to start handing out infractions very soon.

I gave a call to the Manager of my local GameStop and Personal Friend.

He wasn't happy about it especially, NOT being able to tell customers about it before Purchase.

But orders is orders when it comes from Corporate. It's either do it or, they'll replace you with someone who can.

And with these Tough economic times and High unemployment their lined up for your job.

I bought FSX (lost the copy I bought in 2009) a few weeks ago and it was like that.

They had the activation code blacked out (want pics of where it's been blacked out and the slip of paper?) in the box and handed it to me on a slip of paper - and guess what - it didn't work! I had to use a friend's code. What ticks me off even more so is that any legit FSX key will work with any FSX copy no matter who's disks you used - so the code they gave me clearly isn't even for FSX.

I called them and they said they couldn't do anything and since I had lost the receipt, I couldn't get a refund.

I have said since them that I will never go to gamestop again.

You have 7 *s and 1 ing, that makes a 10 letter word. Now you have gone and confused Dowly AND broken the rules. Shameful

What do you mean that I've been ignoring the rules every day? I haven't been on this forums for 2 months until now.

Wait, wut?

I believe an acceptable bad word for subsim would be smurf.

Please listen to Steve and if you don't remember them, please reread them. (helps avoid problems)

I'm sure I typed the stars before I submitted the thread.

Anyway, point taken and lesson learned... :P

I also edited my post - like the well-behaving guy I am If I get an infraction, so it may be, don't want to cop out by editing.
