I ran my first patrol without a glitch ... FINALLY after a ****load of problems I got ironed out thanks to you guys and gals
![]() Now I'm into my 2nd patrol ... I've been assigned to patrol grid AN 41 for 24 hours which I have completed without issue ... I am now in route to Scapa Flow and when I get close I CTD every freakin' time ![]() Any ideas as to what may be the culprit ![]()

Not sure about your mod layout so I can't comment on that, but I'll get the ball rolling in the suggestion department by asking about your TC. If it's too high when you get close to land, (say within 50 km or so), it can often lead to a CTD.
If your TC's okay, then there could be an issue with the campaign layers or even a corrupt save. Best way to test is to load up a new mission and head for Scapa to see if you can reproduce the crash with your current configuration. If it doesn't go down, then your mod loadout is probably stable, whereas if it does, then suspicion falls on the save. Also, you might want to post your mod list so we can help a bit more. I use basically never TC ... if I do, it's the open sea, never close to land and not more than 64,but did you use TC when this happened,

I was usin' TC ... 1024 to be precise

After further testin' it doesn't matter at what speed I enter AN16 ... when I get at the number on the map or a little past it I CTD
![]() I can also head in any other direction WITHOUT a CTD ANYBODY have ANY ideas that may help ![]()
