harder to find convoys

is it normal as the game progresses ( currently western approaches ) that convoys become harder to find? i have done 3 refits due to lack of fuel and havent seen anything other than airplanes and HK grps.

There is a mod in work that will improve the campaign and reports like this really helps. Keep em coming.

I'm currently patrolling the same area "western approaches" and am having not much luck finding convoys, i've spent about 3 weeks (in game time) searching for contacts, have had to go to nearest friendly port to refuel twice now and have only sunk 3 lone ships and come across alot of destroyers in packs..the convoys are out there just keep searching

What convoy do you look for? If you mean that you look for Winston Special, search it off Freetown... When you have southward convoy towards Freetown on your map, go to the contact...

Whenever you encounter H-K groups, sink 5 destroyer and 5 frigate (black swan sloop) or corvette... It will counted as Mid-Ocean Escort Force task...

we are searching for any convoy between NA and heading to the UK. the problem is we need to sink 150,000k by dec 1. i am wasting time. 3 patrols wasted and no sightings. the clock is ticking.

I'm in the same boat. I cruise back and forth to different enemy ports, but no luck yet.

I am working on this just now and have changed the objective requirments.

Of the six objectives there is now an option.
you need 8 VPs to get a victory.
10VPs to get total victory.
There is 14 VPs to get from the six objectives.

So if there is one that you think "oh no not find the dam troopships", you can just miss it out and still win.

Tonnage requirments have also been lowered and traffic has been increased.

Beware of neutral ships though.

Is there too many HKs

Now would be the time to request any changes

i only run into HKs near the south end of the channel, more HKs wouldnt be the problem
