Ive been playing sh4 lately and have kind of got used to the cool wibbly wobbly water on the lens effect when the free look (f12) camera breaks the waters surface.
So when i came back to playing sh3 i found i missed the wibbly wobblieness.
This mod edits cameras.dat to add this effect to sh3 thanks to Silent 3ditor.
Just put it into your mods folder and enable via jsgme.
　
Known issues:
- It uses the same ripple effect as appears on the periscopes in sh3 so if that kills your framerate so will this mod.
-The first time you use the f12 view on a freshly loaded patrol youll get the ripple effect even though youre nowhere near the waters surface.

Cheers, sadly most of my stand-alone mods have simply dissapeared or been deleted over time. All the good stuff like the xxiii and lighthouses etc is still around in various supermods though.

I think the only other worthwhile stuff i ever made was the hi-res concrete textures for uboat pens and that nifty little x-craft, but since i never kept backup copies of anything theyre probably gone forever.

It's funny, because most people who ever played SH4 complained about having the water 'sheeting' off the free cam. Still, as long as some want it, it's a good thing.

This version is very slightly different from the original since i dug it out of my own mods folder, it adds the ripple effect to the bridge (f4) view too.

Hi Flakmonkey, sorry, I know it's been a long while since this mod has been discussed, but I just wondered if you knew how I could get it to work with just the water blurs, without the freecam.
