Default pity me. My emails to ubisoft support. (mildly entertaining)

Hey guys. for your amusement and my relief i'm posting up a series of emails back and forth from me to ubisoft related to playing silent hunter V.

I thought bad things only happened to bad people.

Email i sent:

Trying to run Silent hunter 5.

my accounts nickname was "littlealx" with either the email "xxxxxxxxxxx@hotmail.com" or "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@bigpond.com"

i can't remember which email i used.

In any case it no longer works; when i tried to reset the password it said the user name does not exist.

please reply to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@bigpond.com;

and either reactivate my old account or transfer the cd game key to this new LimaXray account.

the games serial is xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx

I still cannot login to this account. it is not accepting the password i had set for it. In any case it is out of date anyway and i need my details updated. the email account "xxxxxxxxxx@bigpond,net.au" is my mothers and
is not accessible to me. i need to link my account to the email at "xxxxxxxxxxxx@bigpond.com"

and at the same time i'll need to reset the password since it seems something strange has happened.

I mentioned in my previous post that i cannot access my mothers email address... looks like I need to go through the relevant steps to allow me to play with my new account here; and delete the old one.

can we do this please? if you need any further proof of purchase i can provide.

Hey!

I thought your job was to help! not give me all the reasons why you can't do something!

I've been back and forth with you guys for a week now; just in order so i can play a damn game for a couple of hours.

I cannot play this thing because of the protection system your company designed. Not because i lost the cd, not because i downloaded it illegally, not for any other reason than i have to change
my email address. I would hope you have several options available that would allow me to do so.

the barcode on the box is xxxxxxx xxxxxxx

i want to use it with my email address xxxxxxxxx@bigpond.com

Please do whatever is neccesary.

Ah the joys of automation...
Whats even more discracful is that there is a premium rate support number for UBI in Au -1902 262 102 charging a whopping $2.48 per min!
So a 10 min converstion will come to roughly the same cost as Silent Hunter V itself. And I'd imagine it will patch you though to a third party call center agent who is not too bright, so 10 minutes is optimistic.

Hopfully at some point one of your emails will actually end up getting read by a human being with an ouce of intelligence

Ubisoft banned me from their forums over my complaints about SH5 DRM but of course they allow me to keep my Ubistore account under the same username.
