Please help me remove seams in the water

The video card is the GeForce 9800 GT PCI Express x16, 512 MB.
The seams, or panes, are lines passing by around ships moving through the water; these panes of water also pass by around the boat.

The NVIDIA Control Panel offers education in what the individual settings effect, but sadly I am not getting the know-how on removing the seam problem.

More an irritation, it definitely bottoms out the visual experience.

One further note: it only occurs in moderately rough to stormy seas.

Thank you.

Default

The first thing I do with Nvidia cards when I have video trouble is rollback to the previous driver. For some reason, Nvidia driver "features" seem to skip generations.

If anti-aliasing is off, you may want to turn it on though it is a RAM hog.

More system or video ram is never a bad thing as well.
