On one hand criminals need to be brought to trial. On the other hand, after all this time, can there be evidence that can be truly examined? I am torn on this. Can this man get a fair trial or is it a trial of vengeance? If it has taken 69 years to bring him to trial, how strong is the evidence? But if he is guilty, there is no statute of limitations for murder. I just don't know. Would sentencing a 97 year old man really be justice? I just don't know.
