Cat and Mouse Game?

Ahoy,
This is only a very theoritical question, and probably very silly one

I wonder if it would be possible (in distant future)to mod SH5 to such extend, that we could have playable both type VII submarine and an escort, say Flower type corvette

I am asking because it would be great to play sort of cat and mouse multiplayer game when one guy was sub and the other escort ship. You know, asdic, depth charges....
I have seen SH4 mods that make even Yamato playable so maybe it is possible?
