Default Problem with the 180° minus bearing method

Hello sailors,

I'm in 1941, sailing onboard USS Pickerel, and now my sonarmen have located a LMT, headed course 201 degrees true, so I maneuver the boat to be exactly parallel to the guy, and now he's on bearing 250 relative, and my firing bearing is 260 with an AOB of 60 starboard , and he just keeps going unharmed. As a side note, I've tracked his course with two pings when he was first detected at 25 km away, then when he was 14 kms away. Connect the dots and you got yourself a true course yeah? Does wind have any effect in the game given its direction 101 and speed 10 m/s? Would it drive him faster? and is there a fix to the speed dial? I meant is there a time limit to when to obtain readings from stadimeter in order to get an accurate consistent reading?

The whole issue, is that I cant get a fixed course based on stadimeter speed deduction button. Should I try the radio contact report message course? I mean its an estimate..

take a look:

this is the setup and if you like to try it be my guest. Note that I'm on stock 1.5 only, with observation color filter red mod only. Unpack to Documents/SH4/Data/Cfg/RichSavedGames then boot the game and load the save named "Setup Ready". Post a vid if you will.
