Default Silent Hunter 5 Wont let me uninstall

Ive tried everything. I go into its folder, and theres no uninstall.exe, i go into control panel and SH5 isnt listed in programs, and when i insert the SH5 Dick and uninstall from there it either doesnt respond or it tries to install another copy.

How can i uninstall it? im trying to uninstall then reinstall to fix some file corruption.

I believe somewhere in the computer, there is a program (Sort of like an end tasks program) that lets you look at all of the programs installed on the computer and "remove" them, as in it uninstalls them through the computer. The directory for this I don't know though however, maybe someone can help?

Ummmm
Strange.... I found the uninstall straight forward. No problems.

I just uninstalled using the control panel, clicked silent hunter 5, clicked uninstall. Message popped up asking if I wanted to uninstall. I clicked yes. Another message popped up asking if I wanted to remove saved games & config files. I clicked yes.

It uninstalled.

I rebooted, checked folder... still there. I looked in folder... Had files from mods. So i dragged folder to recycle bin.

Rebooted. All files gone.

Reinstalled. No Problems.

Have you tried just deleting the folder???

Hey CptMatt,
I use this when some apps stubbornly refuse to take the hint that you want them gone
http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.html

and then just manually delete any folders that might get left behind.

thats the problem. Silent hunter5 doesnt appear as a program on Control panel, CCleaner, or ANYTHING else.

The CD doesnt respond at all.

And there is NO uninstall.exe or anything similar to it in any folder.

I cant uninstall from control panel, disk, through SH5, or outside programs. WTF can i do.

do you have another HD in your PC you could install the game to?
Or a different partition and delete the Ubisoft game file that you originally installed???

when you say the cd doesn,t respond at all,, is it recognized in "my computer"? if it is can you right click and "explore CD"?

I used the Iobit advanceduninstaller the last time I had to uninstall SH5 as the built-in uninstaller or the control panel option didn't work.Just checking the Iobit uninstaller on my system and it has SH5 on the program list,(though that ain't much good to you if it doesn't show on yours).
Sorry that didn't work, hope you get a solution to it soon.

It knows theres a CD in it, i can run the autostart no problem. Everything throughth e menu works EXCEPT uninstall.

When i click it, absolutely nothing happens. i Gave it about 10 minutes to respond but no dice.
