Default Thames River

Hi to all
Has anybody tried to venture to Thames River with his U Boat in GWX?
I contemplated with the idea (Feb 1940) as I was close by but decided against it as I am very happy with my current carreer and do not intend to commit suicide. I will try it as a single mission - just wondering if anyody has tried it here

Best

Yep done Southend and sunk a couple of ships and survived. In 1939 though. One thing I didn't notice through the periscope when I was there was the famous pleasure pier, which I have walked along in real life many times!

Only time I went in there in early 1940 I put a torpedo into a merchant from about 350m

Damn thing must have been carrying the entire BEF supply of RDX,
Went off like a bomb, took out my periscope and did some damage

Must have levelled the town and done billions in improvements to the surrounding area
