NYGM Problem

HI,
Using NYGM with all mods up to date I find I cannot maintain depth unless using full speed. As soon as I dive to P.D. and reduce speed I go deeper and deeper.Obviously my battery doesn't last long and I keep committing suicide by trying to duke it out on the surface. Where all those aircraft come from in 1939 I don't know.
Anyone know the answer please?

I believe the depth keeping issue is part of NYGM. Ive had some troubles mantaining depth with my IIA duck boat, sometime it rises and sometimes it falls. I think weather has to do with it also, the boat isnt stabilized and may go out of control if not trimmed properly (i guess). Makes it realistic.

Hi,
Believe me as an exsubmariner, there is nothing realistic about heading for crush depth unless you go flat out or blow ballast. Only once was I in that situation and fortunately the Skipper soon regained control. Realistic means it happens all the time.
