Default Who can adjustment the SHSim.act file with a hex editor?

Destroyers can not attack periscope by the AA gun in SH5,It is unrealistic,Only adjustment SHSim.act to correct this error , look forward someone to adjust the file.

That would be an awesome fix indeed, wish I knew or had the time to learn hex, Good luck!

It may be simpler then editing files by Hex.
The scopes are a seperate file with no damage zones.
And as such may not be 'seen' by the AI?
Do bigger guns fire on the scopes?

Can the Periscopes be added to AI Visual Sensors or are they already there?

Not sure if this file is even used but all hit points are the same for every item .
C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\UPCDataGE\UPCUnitsData\Equipment
Hitpoints= 100

I have such doubts, but I'm sure AI destroyers find periscope, which shows no problems AI Visual Sensors。

Control Tower have been out of the water, destroyers still do not fire。


DD can continue to attack the submarine to dive to 12 meters, but the submarine go up to 9 - 8 meters. DD is still not to fire。
