Default Can someone explain this to me......

Looking at the photos below there is an obvious flaw in the game or ive been playing wrong for A VERYYYYYY long time in sub sims and I doubt that is the problem... Is DW is flawed??

I just downloaded DW last week after being bored and fed up with the SH series...(and many older games like janes 688, sub command, etc)

As you can see by my circle marker and the indicated heading im on a course of 283. With the truth option on (trying to debug my confusion) you can clearly see an enemy sub to the north of me, to my right... So to me i would assumbe this to be a bearing of 090 (or there abouts).....

Why does the Broadband display show the contact (s29) near zero on the waterfall yet the indicated bearing on the right of the screen clearly is accurate at 084?
So to me the waterfall is saying the contact is in front of the boat (bearing 000 or there abouts) yet the indicated bearing on the right says its on the right side of the boat, which is correct.... so im confused on why or what are the numbers on the waterfall if they arent bearing?
So since the indicated bearing on the right of screen is the obvious accurate bearing why is there no noise in the waterfall in that area???

Im confused...
