Minesweeper?
Hi all,
is there a minesweeper in the game (GWX 3.0)? I couldn´t find one in the rosters and want to add one to a Single Mission which I´m just working on (U-190 and the sinking of the HMCS Esquimalt). Thanks for your help, Kurfürst ![]()

Oh yes..... yes there is....
They are almost annoyingly in the game.... you will come to rue them as you run into them..... literally. Each port you start from, you are escorted from your berth by a minesweeper (albeit I think Kiel uses something else, but they're purpose is the same, to Asplode instead of you). |

MSTrawler and MSTrawler1 are listed as minesweepers in SH3 Commanders ship list by Sailor Steve. I found them listed in the British roster in SH3, so I guess there are some for the allies.

http://www.uboat.net/allies/warships/class/339.html In RL they are listed as sailing for Britain, New Zealand, Canada, and the Royal Norwegian Navy (courtesy of the RN). Where else they appear in the game's Roster I can't remember. I think it's probably the same there or close to it (at least in GWX). |
