Default A few general issues/questions

I am running the following mods:

Magnum Opus with Patch 2
Environment 5.0 MOD
sobers base fog mechanics
sobers realistic hydrophone
sub_hyd_fixSH5
Critical hits 1.1 torpedo

Figured that I would make one post about a few issues/questions I had rather than making 20 individual threads about them....

- What is travel mode and what does it do?

- When I select Crash Dive there is literally a 30 second delay before someone yells ALARM! and the boat begins to do ANYTHING. If I simply select any depth the crew makes ready to dive immediately. Is there a way for crash dive to respond faster?

- Is it possible to calculate your solution for one tracked target and save it, move on to the 2nd, calculate it and save it as well so you can fire torpedos almost simultaneously rather than getting one solution, firing, and then working on the 2nd targets solution?

- When you input a solution into the TDC, does it update as you are tracking the target or is it only good for right then and there?

- Can someone school me on warships' sonar; I understand the red half circle denotes where their sonar 'looks'. Is it always active? Also, is there a depth to which you can get under it?

- The radio distance that can set set to over 1k km, what does it do?

- Is there a way to ask for a resupply, or permission to return to base while out on patrol?

Thanks

No. But all the ships will be at the same speed, so no need to change that with each target. The TDC will track your setting, so if you AOB is correct for the ship you are aiming at, it will auto adjust as you turn your scope to the next target. Just ensure the TDC button is red before you turn it.
So thats speed and AOB good for all targets and this just leaves a quick stadi update for each target you aim at.

See above

Thanks

That makes sense. I didn't notice the AOB updated as you turned the periscope and wasn't naive enough to assume everything was running at the same speed; this definitely helps with trying to hit targets at relatively the same time.

The Env 5.0 mod is already included in the Magnum Opus so you can remove that and still enjoy all the effects from it.
